Yes! That's right, the fun little project my friend Heather and I have been working on for the last 2-3 weeks has been getting ready to open our own Etsy shop! The idea to open at this particular time came pretty randomly, but it's been something I've been secretly wanting to do for months, probably since I first discovered Etsy at the beginning of this year. We decided to start with knits since it was something Heather was really into doing and we saw lots of cute things that we wanted to start making, plus it's the perfect time of year for that (around here anyway), but we have a big list of ideas that we want to try, so as the year goes on we'll be switching up the main focus of the shop, which makes it twice as fun!! For the most part Heather is the talent behind all this, I've just been helping with ideas and colour choices, etc ("creative consultant" she calls it), but I'm hoping to be able to contribute more creatively as time goes on. But we're partners and we are super excited, we've been working on it alot, talking about it alot, and now that's it happened I'm really happy with all the work we've done!

(Note: I realize that many people open Etsy shops and that they don't always work out, there are so many shops out there, many that are exactly like ours, but I am perfectly fine if our little shop doesn't become a huge business, it was an amazing project for Heather and I, we are really proud of what we've done, and if La table carré decides to shine bright, I will be truly grateful, but if it decides to fade away, I'm ok with that too.)
